Rin is a very interesting person if you see her. Fair skinned, nice frame, and normal face, no one suspects her nothing beyond normal AT user until they see the hair. Though most people have black, blond, or brownish hair, she shock blue for her hair. It is a natural born color that is a specialty in her family gene pool. Her hair flows down until about her shoulder and her bangs cover one of her eyes. Two barrettes are clipped onto the right bang. Rin has a nice color of green for her eyes but has to wear glasses because of her eyesight. Because glasses commonly fly off her face when she uses AT, she ordered contacts that are colored red for her eyes. It is rare to see her wear glasses and only a select few see her green eyes.
On her neck Rin wears a necklace with a small, blue rectangular gem. Blue and black colored headphones hang on her neck and blares out loud music when walking. Matching necktie is tied around her neck and goes down mid-chest. Rin wears a black colored shirt that ends above her bellybutton along with another light blue shirt over it. A white bandana is tied on her upper left arm for decoration purposes. Rin also sports black, fingerless gloves for extra gripping.
A metal studded belt holds up a black and blue stripped pant, a thin white line in between each of them. Two other belts hang from the first and loop around to the back. They are colored red and sometimes hold small bags when she attaches them on. A smaller black belt starts where the right belt begins and also loops toward the back. This one holds a small bag with buttons all over the flap. This holds packs of liquid nitrogen required for her AT to freeze walls and her opponents. Two more bags are on her thigh and lower leg on her pants. These hold spare parts for on-the-go repairs. Rin wears normal black and white shoes for normal walks with bits of snowflake decorations on the top.
When there is a scheduled battle for her, she changes the loose pants for flexible sweatpants that are mostly black with blue and white strips down the legs.
Personality: Rin is just a normal, fun loving girl who goes to school to learn and hang out with friends. She is sometimes described as ‘insane’ and ‘dramatic’ because of her outrageous sayings and acts in her school. She’s not very popular but people know her simply by pass of words and that kind of makes Rin happy. Most of her friends are boys and though years of hanging out with them, she turned into a tomboy. Though she is surrounded by friends, she is lonely sometimes. On clear days where the sunset is clear as glass, Rin climbs onto a rooftop in her neighborhood and sits there, away from people that cannot reach her safe-haven spot. When she is really down, she blasts a song to change her mood and she immediately cheers up.
However, when one gives her AT’s, she changes completely that no one would think this was their crazy, fun loving Rin.
Rin flies though the air and between the buildings like a leaf caught in a gust of wind. She flips and twists though the air like the wind is the one controlling her and not her own conscience. Because she has no team to order around, she can show the darker side of her mind. She wasn’t named Ice Queen for no reason. Cold as ice and just as ruthless, Rin will take down the opponent until they are frozen to the bone.
Fun loving and playful, cold and merciless; she is a two sided coin that changes just like the sun and the moon.
Rin is also a very picky person. She doesn’t let anyone touch her stuff, even her parents and friends. She buys her own stuff and puts them in without any help.
Background: Rin lived a normal life in the city of Japan. Her home was in a tightly knit neighborhood where everyone practically knew each other. Stores close by and friends constantly around her, Rin was everything a normal girl would be until the age of twelve. She was walking through the city when she saw a shadow below her. She looked up and saw people flying through the air. It amazed her to see humans, beings who are suppose to be earth bound, flying though the air just like a bird. From that day forward she aimed to get a pair of AT’s herself. Her parents thought against it, hearing gangs and fights happen between Storm rider gangs but Rin promised that she would only be a Rider and not join any kind of gang.
With some hard work for months, she finally got enough to get her own pair of AT’s. It was the happiest day of her life and she instantly took them out for a spin. Of course, everyone starts out pretty badly and Rin restrained herself to practice in her neighborhood and nowhere else. When she had free time Rin would practice hard with her moves, climbing up walls, jumping rooftops, practicing tricks over grassy backyards, and so on. When she was confident in going out into the public she was met with a Storm Rider gang. She had not known that the area outside of her neighborhood ‘belonged’ to them and was thrown into a fight. Rin could not fight them, she barely started, so she was crushed under them.
Thankfully, another Storm Rider gang was close by and helped her escape. They defeated the other team and took the territory for themselves. They were a nice group, Rin remembered, and she knew she didn’t have to worry whenever she ventured outside of her home to fly through the air like a bird. A few years later, another group of Storm Riders tried to invade her neighborhood. No one around except her knew how to us AT’s so she had to take them on herself. They were just a rookie group and her skills have improved greatly in the years she has practiced.
Some time later, they left the small neighborhood, defeated by the hand of a fourteen year old girl. Form that day, Rin realized that she would have to grow stronger in order to protect her small home from being anyone’s territory. A few adjustments and upgrades to her AT and she was dubbed Ice Queen.
She still rules over the small neighborhood by herself and continues to fly through the air.
Extras: Rin has a particular weakness to small, adorable bunnies. Whenever she sees one, she can’t help but stop and watch it be cute.
Her family is in the pet shop business. They are the only one with available pets to sell and Rin takes it upon herself to take the birds no one wants to own. Upon entering her home, a bird might just fly out and hit you in the face. No worries though, Rin’s birds always return back home for food and sleep.
One of the birds, a blue parakeet named Jazz, likes to follow Rin to and fro school. It’s a playful little thing but it screams like there’s no tomorrow if it sees a Storm Rider gang. Rin is currently the only person who can calm the bird down when Storm Riders are around.
